The Vitreo-Retina Department Rotary Eye Hospital has Vitreoretinal surgeon and well trained para-medical staff. The department runs short term fellowship training in medical retina for postgraduates in Ophthalmology. The operation theatres are furnished with higher end Vitrectomy machines and suitable operation paraphernalia. On an average 50 retinal surgeries, both simple and complicated, are performed every month.
